2022 Volunteer Instructions

Volunteer Instructions 2022 

Thank you for your time and service.  Without your hard work, the event simply doesn’t happen! 

If you did not pre-register please feel free to come to the event and register manually. Follow the same steps below.

  1. If you haven’t already, please review our website at arlingtonskyfest.com. 
    Our guests may ask you questions that have answers on our website.  You may have questions of your own.  There is a lot of information on the website (99% of it on the first page) 
  2. Please display your parking pass in your driver side dash 
    Parking passes will be emailed to all pre-registered volunteers. If you don’t have one, we will have some at check-in desk. Please go ahead and park in in volunteer parking area – it will be fine the short time you take to check-in and grab a pass.
  3. Please consult the general map of the Volunteer parking and check-in area
    Orienting yourself with the map, the steps below will be more clear. For driving instructions, here is the Google maps link.
  4. After parking, walk to the main hangar to self-service check-in.  
    Follow the signs on the tables in the hangar to collect your badge, a safety vest if needed and other supplies.  
  5. Walk down to the end of the hangar to “Volunteer Point”. 
    Here you’ll find the volunteer lounge at Volunteer Point with bathrooms, chairs, tables, shade and snacks.  This is where we encourage everyone to socialize and catch-up!  Lots of room to spread out and be social while you are taking a break or waiting for the next step. 
  6. Follow your manager’s instructions
    Your manager may also contact you prior to check-in and provide further instructions.
  7. If you have not heard from your manager, please contact them.

Volunteer Check-in Assistance

The volunteer check-in area is self-serve in 2022, and is open as long as the hangar is open. If you need assistance please contact your manager. The manager list is below, and a list with phone numbers will be on the check-in table at the event
