Volunteer benefits policy

Unless otherwise approved by the Executive Director or Fly-In Manager on a case-by-case basis:

All volunteers under the age of 16 must work under the direct supervision of a authorized adult. Volunteers must be 18 or older, and hold a valid drivers license to operate any vehicle or machinery.

A home department will be assigned for each volunteer where all volunteer benefits will be coordinated by that department manager. This will not prevent volunteers from supporting multiple departments or having multiple work assignments.

No volunteer is eligible for volunteer benefits unless they are included in the volunteer database with at least a full mailing address, and, if driving a vehicle during the event, their driver's license is on file and meet the minimum requirements for said benefit.
