Volunteer at the Arlington Fly-in!

2017 instructions:  If you logged-on last year, this year is much simpler!  Logon using the link in the menu above again and then answer the two questions at the top of your “My Profile” tab.  That’s it!  Optionally you can update your information, if that’s changed.

Arlington Fly-in volunteer events provide a great way to connect with like minded aviation enthusiasts, work parties allow us to have fun and make new connections while lending a hand in making sure a variety of tasks that help sustain the event get accomplished.   Join every month or when you have just a few hours to spare.   AWO is a great backdrop to the work party events, and as usual among aviation enthusiasts time is spent looking up at the sound of engine noise and stories of flying experiences are not rare.

Planning is literally year around with the Fly-In. We had a very productive board meeting on Saturday and went through some important discussions and presentations of a possible new structure, with a board and a managers group. We also shared our thoughts about the core values of the event. It's an airshow, a Fly-in fellowship and educational event with living history. We have workshops, forums, vendors, new airplanes of all types. We have owners groups and others who come and join in the fun. We have Camp Adams and history. And the latest avionics and gizmos. And we give back to our community and the City of Arlington. While the world of aviation has certainly changed over the the past 48 years, we are strong and dedicated to the fun, adventure and skills in private flying! Can't wait for July! ...
