Camp Adams 2018

The North Pacific Military Corps (NPMC), an informal assembly of regional military history enthusiasts, serves as coordinator for Camp Adams. At the Arlington Fly-in, Camp Adams participants will be available during show hours to share information with the public about vehicles and displays

Major participating groups include:

  • Puget Sound Military Vehicle Collectors Club
  •  Western Command Historical Society,
  •  Flying Heritage Collection
  • Washington National Guard
  • U.S. Naval Sea Cadet Corps
  • North Cascade Military Collectors

The NPMC member mission is to (1) restore and preserve noteworthy examples of military equipment, (2) demonstrate said equipment at public venues and (3) share military history information with the public.

Friday

The Camp will be open to the public all day.

12 noon to 1 PM, the NPMC will conduct demonstrations of equipment including simulated combat and tank operations. Tank rides will follow for a limited number of persons.

Late in the day, prior to the evening air show, (approx. 6 PM) Camp vehicles will participate in a Pass-in-Review Parade along one taxiway.

 

Saturday

The Camp will be open to the public all day.

From 12 noon to 1 PM, the NPMC will conduct demonstrations of equipment including simulated combat and tank operations. Tank rides will follow for a limited number of persons.

Just following the afternoon airshow, (approx. 4:30 PM) Camp vehicles will participate in a Pass-in-Review Parade along one taxiway.

 

Camp Adams will begin dis-assembly Saturday evening and into Sunday morning

The Camp Adams site is located immediately inside the Fly-in main entrance. Visitors may walk throughout the Camp and visit with owner/operators of 100 or more vehicles, weapons and displays. Persons seeking a tank ride should contact the Fly-in office.
