Will be broadcasting from a micro power radio station in a studio trailer near the campground with regularly updated information and entertainment for campers and show attendees that can be picked up with any standard FM receiver.
We are looking for a volunteer to assist with the technical side of radio station operations and production. A "board op" position is available for someone with computer and/or audio skills. This volunteer is responsible for playing back programming and assisting with technical operations and production. Ideally, this person could be available each day of the event, though schedules can be flexible. It's a big commitment, but lots of fun! If you are interested, please contact
Volunteers@arlingtonflyin.org
During the day the station will feature up to date aviation news and information provided by Aero News-Network, local news, traffic, and weather, the air show audio feed, updated air show schedule and announcements, and feature programming. In the evenings the station will broadcast lighter aviation related material provided by a number of podcasters and a mix of music. Stay tuned for the frequency to find Arlington Radio on your dial.
